February 11, 2010

I’m currently doing production stills for a feature film being filmed here in LA…

A recent location of ours was in the middle of Topanga, in a pretty isolated section of the mountain. We were shooting at an old two-story farmhouse, and EVERYTHING was old about this place…

I fell in love with the wallpaper in the living room. No, I probably would never have it in my OWN house, but for where we were, it was perfect… Enjoy!

Goodbye, Brasil!

January 13, 2010

I’m spending the day trying to figure out how to get everything home…

When I arrived in Brasil, I had a suitcase filled with presents, so I figured there would be no problem getting home. Somehow, I’m heading back with a whole extra suitcase.

I get into NYC Thursday morning, head to Philly for the weekend, then back to LA to work! I have a new website coming soon, and my designer needs to hear from me!

Before I go to juggle around the weight of my bags, check out this photo. One thing I came to get used to down here was the thunder storms! Some last only 5 minutes, some last longer… Regardless of length, they always seem to flood the streets! Here is the last bit of sun kissing one of the buildings before it became completely enveloped by the black clouds moving in.

See you soon!

Hey all,

It’s been a little while since my last post – I spent a few weeks in NJ/Philadelphia with family, then escaped to Brasil for a month! I’m still here in São Paulo, still with 10 days left of my trip. In just a couple of days I’m going to the capital of Brasil, Brasília. If you like modernist architecture, this place is a dream come true. I’m so excited to shoot here.

Here is a little something to hold you all over until I can post more!

Hope everyone is well and had a great holiday season… New Years on the beach in Baleia sure was perfect for me, even if I did have the flu!! (which I still have..)

LACMA and iPhones

November 4, 2009

Tonight I swung by the LACMA to shoot the architecture… I got there late of course thanks to traffic, but I decided to walk around anyway just to check things out!!!!

What a beautiful place!!! I didn’t shoot much at all, but I did shoot this…

Can’t wait to get back there!! Also, I’m writing this blog post from the WordPress App for iPhone, so I’m eager to see how it looks. It will be great for my upcoming trip to Brasil!

Every Saturday after 5PM the Getty Center in Los Angeles is free, so I decided to swing by.

Not only was it free, but it is a gorgeous building in a gorgeous landscape, at a gorgeous time of day! How could I resist?! Here are just a few pictures from the day. I look forward to visiting several more times until I know this building as well as I got to know the DeYoung in San Francisco!!
